Yeah, I know what you mean ... However, we must give some of the nicer cops credits here as well ... not all of them are ****** ... cause I've met a few who were just really nice ... and totally shocked me.

Well, I've been a memeber since .... Wednesday =) attended my first meet. How long you've been a member? Talk to Thu lately?

Nah, can't be, I was still pulled over three times and received three tickets. 1st one was for 10 over ( that officer was really nice, I think that if it wasn't his first time writing a ticket he would have let me off) 2nd one was for 29 over ( he was not as nice but had me out of there in less than 5 minutes) Last one was for 20 over ( he was a bit of an idiot, he only caught me at 21 over).

I don't think being a girl makes too much difference, I think it is the respect you show the officer that makes all the difference. In all of those instances I deserved being pulled over, as I was speeding.

As for fighting words, hahahaha, nah you get off easy this time.

Well said ... I totally agree with you. It all really comes down to the respect that you show the police. For some reason if you show them respect they seem to be a lot more nicer. However, it still really depends on their mood if they issue you a ticket or not.

i have blue plates on my car, the cop pulled me over and gave me a ticket for them and he said that he couldn't see the letters/numbers. so i took it too court and i took pictures of my car with the blue plate cover next to cars without any covers on them and i showed the judge that both plates are just a s visible as eachother and as soon as she saw it she dismissed the case and the cop got fucked over there was nothing he can do about it and i wont eh entire ticket and i was my own lawyer i didn't need anyone. so i don't know what the hell these people are telling you that they are illegal b/c they are not. and got pulled over for other occasions and they never brought it up so its fine.

nice job crxdxpower. way to prove the cops wrong!

but like i said before, i'm not saying that these frames are illegal because that's up to the judge. all i'm saying is that cops WILL give you a ticket for a blue/tinted frame cover. i guess it's up to you to fight it in court.

the only reason why he pulled me over though is b/c he saw my signals (blue) but he warned me for that, and he gave me the ticket for the cover. the only reason her gave me a ticket was b/c of my car that i am driving and b/c i live in woodbridge. civic and woodbridge= bad combination, and when he left he said stop hanging around with your buddys at hwy 7 with all this blue crap. im like wtf i don't even go there what kind of a dumbass comment
was that i felt like knocking this guys teeth in. stupid cops just bug you for your car, but don't take there ****. and there is no difference they are still visible unless he is a blind retard.
stupid cops:

Thanks for the information ... never thought about taking pictures with and without the plates if I ever had to go to court. But now that you've mentioned it ... awhile back when I got pulled over for something stupid ... I asked the cop if anything on my car was illegal and when the officer walked around my car and said everything seems fine ... I figure the frames were okay ... that's why I was curious about the frames.

2 of my friends, one driving behind the other... both got pulled over at the same time and the cop gave both of them a ticket for having the blue license plate covers...pretty sad....

I took my rear plate cover off, afraid of a cop sneaking up behind me. I left the front one on, that I need, I hit too many bugs on the highway

This is just an excuse for pigs to pull over POTENTIAL street racing cars.

If you have a Caravan, with the blue plate cover on, I GARANTEE no cops will bother you.

I keep my car as clean as possible. Don't give any chance for pigs to pull me over. Yes, blue plate cover looks cool. But to me, not worthed the hassle like getting pull over, wasting time going to court. Can you sue a cop for any kind of compensation afterward? No!

Even though they are legal, I choose not to put them on.

My $2/100

A little note about the 407....anyone with out of state/province plates don't get charged for taking the 407. My cousin stayed here for a couple months drove his car with out of province plates on the 407 everday and never ever got a bill...
