cheap insurance..??

Can anyone hook me up with cheap auto insurance..???

Right now I am paying $375/month one way for my 95 si coupe

and I am a student, so I am starving for lower insurance rates.

I have a G license, 22 years old, suspended 2 years ago, 1 speeding conviction of 129 in 100 zone, and 4 more speeding tickets and 1 running a red light still pending court date.

Can anyone help me out..??

I wouldn't complain cause I have a perfect record and on a 95 Jeep YJ I pay $6000.00 a year plus my Civic at $1300.00 and home insurance at $1100.00. I am 22 and have my G license. The only thing I have going against me is a cancellation from when I was 18 of non-payment.

You have to shop around. There is no one insurance company that is cheap for everyone. Start doing online quotes:

www.kanetix.com
www.insurancehotline.ca
www.belairdirect.com (happened to be cheapest for me)

If you are academic alumni or work for certain organizations, Meloche Monnex usually has very good rates though they still couldn't come close to what I got from Bel Air Direct.

www.melochemonnex.com

Open the phone book and start calling brokers, other companies, etc... In general most companies wave your first conviction from affecting your rates. That suspended is probably hurting your rates. If you have 5 tickets pending in court you better do your best to get those taken care of and slow down

My rate at 22 was around 3000 (full license, one ticket), on renewal now it dropped to 2200 (full coverage).

I know TD offers 2 tickets before they raise your rates (not sure if they still do but they did about 3 years ago).

If you are wililng, consider dropping collison and comprehensive coverage if you have them or raising the deductables to lower your rate also.

Then my friend, you have only two options. 1) open up your wallet REAL wide or 2) Get used to taking "the better way"...

Dangerous driving and racing? Better for everyone else on the road that he take the "better way" until such time that maturity and restraint finally sets in.

who's your insurance with? 375 is a deal for your record

I suggest you keep renewing because you'll have a tough time being insured from another company
