Case law and the HTA

ok so I know where the HTA is and can reference it.

however, I've heard that case law is very useful in court.

I'm interested in finding out more about case law that can be used in Traffic court. I was at my local Library today and found some books on parking violations and one on Canadian Law that spent 2 pages on traffic law and was very unhelpful.

for those that have been to court and used Case law, where did you look it up?

and no I don't want internet links since I doubt any case law found online would be admited in court... (if that was true anyone with a computer could type up documents that looked like case law)

ok I found what I was looking for:

Canadian Legal Information Institute

this site is packed with Case law ... for those of you who are smart and looking to defend yourself it's a gold mine of information.

I really like the case, R. v. Vanier, 2005 ONCJ 318 COURT FILE No: 00-78620694-00

anyways I hope the above link helps others out.
