I'm also wondering if you can get a ticket for having an exaust but with a silencer in it?

well, you could possibley get a ticket for an improper muffler, as it's not stock......

just depends on the cop pulling you over

alot of guys on the board said that when they put the silencer on, they passed with flying colors, but i haven't heard of anybody getting pulled with a silencer on.

i never got pulled with my exhaust, i got warned by a cop in a parking lot that it's an improper muffler and if he catches me again he'll ticket me

If a cop is a dick he can hand you just about any ticket he thinks is fitting. but it doesn't always hold up in court

i got a ticket.. fucken cop gave it b/c its a canister style stright through flow.. and its loud.. so i got a silencer..

Well I got a ticket for an improper muffler. I pleeded guilty with an explanation. I told the court that I had to replace my old muffler that came with my car because it had a hole. So the judge then tells me that my ticket has been suspended (which means I don't have to pay), because I took imediate action to fix my broken muffler.
