Can u get a ticket for an exaust w/ a silencer?

I'm also wondering if you can get a ticket for having an exaust but with a silencer in it?

well, you could possibley get a ticket for an improper muffler, as it's not stock......:rolleyes:

just depends on the cop pulling you over

alot of guys on the board said that when they put the silencer on, they passed with flying colors, but i haven't heard of anybody getting pulled with a silencer on.

i never got pulled with my exhaust, i got warned by a cop in a parking lot that it's an improper muffler and if he catches me again he'll ticket me :rolleyes:

If a cop is a dick he can hand you just about any ticket he thinks is fitting. but it doesn't always hold up in court :wink:

i got a ticket.. fucken cop gave it b/c its a canister style stright through flow.. and its loud.. so i got a silencer..

Well I got a ticket for an improper muffler. I pleeded guilty with an explanation. I told the court that I had to replace my old muffler that came with my car because it had a hole. So the judge then tells me that my ticket has been suspended (which means I don't have to pay), because I took imediate action to fix my broken muffler.
