Can someone legally own a car with G1?
My cuzin, who is 40, just got his g1. He wants to buy a car at a dealer. Can he legally own the car? [ he understands that to drive it, he needs a passenger with atleast 4 yrs experience ]

yes...I had a car with a G1...now insurance wise thats another issue

i had my first car when i was 15, and i got it put in my name the next day after i got it. A dealer mite not sell him a car with only his G1, but you never know.

With all the shady dealers around, I have no doubt that someone would sell him a car.

Dealer won't care. As long as he produces a valid license. Don't even need insurance (as long as you tow it off the lot).

I think he wants to get a car loan to finance the car...

anyone know if the bank will laugh at him for only having g1?

bank won't care as long as the car is insured. so the 1st thing to do is connect with an insurance company willing to cover him
