bad **** happened the other night

i went into this pool hall at bayview and major mac the other night and when i came out my windows were smashed and my sub and amp were stolen.

My affiliation with the insurance company is the following:
1 speeding ticket 130 in a 60
and 1 accident on the QEW
both of these happened over 1.5 years ago

I'm worried if i claim the damage on my insurance that my rates will go up again (and i'm already paying the maximum)

Will this increase my insurance and is it worth claiming damages of 2300 dollars?

Thanks for the responses
mike.

these days pal, who the **** knows....
you could claim it, but i'd expect the worst when it comes to premiums....my guess is that $2300'll cost you that in added premiums every year if not cancellation.....

kinda pathetic isn't it..

As Marty said...these days...

Insurance is not for coverage of the damages to your car,
It is for your coverage of not being ticketed for "Driving Without Insurance".

I have no hope with insurance these days...

A few months ago, I had about $1000 worth of audio stolen out of my car. I claimed it with receipts (they didn't even want to see the car). I got about $700 back ($800 minus $100 deductable). After that my insurance skyrocketed, so I just switched to another insurance company, and now I'm paying a normal rate.

that's wierd. other insurance companies have the same data profiles on you as the one you were previously with. ie. they would know your past history with other insurance companies.

That's why the situation you are in right now is a good one and i hope i can do the same.
