*** hole cop.. (is there any other kind?)

so, i was driving down keele.

my friend in the passenger seat had 104 fever.. so, we're booting along.

he begins to vomit in my car..on my legs..everywhere...so i swing a left....

no left during that time, indicated by the sign

i pulled over to get out, then the cop way up ahead made me pull forward.

i asked her if i could get out to clean the VOMIT OFF MY LEG. she said no that i had to stay in the car.

so gave me a ticket (2 points i think??), then made me move my car up the road before i could get out.

she refused to let me out on the spot even after the ticket, cuz i was blocking her other "customers"... and she needed me out of the way..

is there any defence to this? i plead not guilty, to get a court date..and im praying she doesnt show..but....is there anything i can do?

help!!!!

plead not guilty with an explanation. you wont win, but you might get te fine and point reduced. the cop was right not to let you out. its what they are trained. if you go to court and say you did this because it was a medical emergency, the crown will just say if it was that much of an emergency you should have called an ambulance.

i fail to see how the cop was an *******. yes, your friend was vomiting in your car, but you broke the law and expect to pay the consequences, and she was doing her job.

The only thing you can do is plead no guilty and see what happens.

Next time, if you actually read the sign, obey it. The vomit is already out of his mouth, that is a fact. The fact you get it off of your leg 1 or 2 minutes faster won't make it less dirty but your judgement during that particular moment could result in an accident.

yea that doesnt make sense.
you dont get your court date 10 days later.
it takes them 2-3 weeks just to process it.

no you dumbasses.

my ticket was jan of LAST YEAR....

but, wanted some advice before i headed into the court room.

the cop admitted on the stand she saw my friends vomit all over. but refused to let me out of the car to clean myself.

the judge said that the officers first responsibility was to assist my friend, rather then worry about a little ticket. the judge was pissed.....i was impressed..usually, they side with each other.

she also asked the cop what she would have done if her son was vomiting all over. the cop said she'd stop and pull over asap..which is what i did......i was impressed...

so, i won. woot.

im glad it wasnt remanded. im glad it's done and over with

Wow, I definitely wouldn't have expected that response from a judge. Especially against an officer.

yeah, the judge said though, that the cops first responsibility, is the safety and well being of people. not just to make their quota
