Was there camera on the intersection that he got u or he just saw u ran over the yellow light? Was he behind u when u ran over that light or was he opposite u? It is very hard to fight for it unless u state a good point. How was the condition of the road? Slipper or snowing? If it's snowing u or wet u can have excuse of running the yellow light and tell them u can't fully stop because there was a car behind u very tight and if u brake the person behind me could probably hit me. If the cops were behind u, u can't really fight it, unless u tell them to state the prove. Is all above witness and prove. If there is none u win that's all. Going into court is all about law. Wish u luck then. I just got 2 speeding ticket 2 on the same day. So i know how u feel. Everything is bs.

your only excuse for running an amber light can be that it otherwise unsafe to stop. the law says that you must stop when the light changes to amber unless it is unsafe to do so.

also i believe the cop had to have a clear view of both your light and the other light as well, although that may only be for running a red.

but yeah, it was unsafe to stop is the clear winner i'd use. its not like you ran a red like half the other people on the roads do, so you may do ok on this one

Everyone in this forum will say u deserve it, but i think is not your fault. The people on the forum never got tickets like this or 2 speeding tickets like me so that's why they will say is your own fault for running the light. I'm not saying everyone here but some people on other threads are like that. Give it a try and say it wasn't safe to stop because there was a car tailgate me and the roads were slippery. I'm sure u get away with it. Ask the cop if he shows up. Was i endangering anyone? Was i speeding? Were there pedestrian in the intersection? Ask him those question and u should do fine.
