accident nightmare as well - adjuster questions
 

hey all

recently got into huge accident - its a total write off - i am 0% liable
drove a 98 v6 accord coupe w 220 000 km on it
i had a new transmission, front tires, timing belt + water pump, front light harness, new battery


my question is how do i negotiate with the adjuster?
anybody with previous experience can help me?
how much should i expect to get?

Black book value I think unless you had extra coverage for any extras of value the car had. New parts added becuase of maintenance and repairs probably don't mean much.

if you dont like the settlement they call you with just hang up on them...dont call them back...they will call you back in like 2 weeks with a better deal

how do i have so much leverage?

thats what I did and thats what many others have done...they have to settle and if you dont accept their first offer they will change their tune
