accident help

ok so i was in hamilton driving east on burlington street in the company van i check my blind spot turn on the signal and make my way over when this guy come up the side of me and i end up tagging his back rear driver side fender with the front left fender of the van we pull over and **** and he is all insurance will take care of it and in a rush saying he accelerated to get around me (later on saying the same **** to my boss)...........at the end of it guy has already went to insurance and i have already filed a accident report saying what he said he did and ****.................i think he was flying up behind me and tried to pass me on the right...............anyways does anyone know what i can do to help my chances?? if it goes to my insurance i loose my licence and job most likely seeing as i have 3 speeding tickets on my recorded still from when i first started driving

i called x copper but they only deal with tickets so i dunno anyone else to go to? or am i just **** out of luck and in the hands of insurance

you only loose points if the cops charge you and give you a ticket, you won't lose points otherwise as far as i know.

Do you mean you hit his drivers side rear bumper with the front RIGHT corner of the van? otherwise it just doesn't make sense... did you offer to pay him out of your own pocket to get him not to take it to insurance? and did u give him your insurance info?

it's good that u filed the police report before he did, that way your version of events is on file with them..

yea sorry you right.........his driver rear bumper with the RIGHT front fender of the work van.....he has the company trucks info..............and he called my boss, my boss said well bring it by and will pay for the damages but the guy said no it was an insurance job blah blah insurance.......seems like he wanted to get hit or something so he could claim insurance

i wont get points taken away but soon as my insurance finds out i was in an accdent i'm screwed.........3 speeding tickets and an accident its already boardline and they havent found out about the 3rd ticket yet i'm going to get cancelled

You didnt say if the police charged you. Just because your involved in an accident dosent mean that your insurance company will drop you. If you did not get charged the police can still hold you at fault for the accident. So you need to find out from the investigating officer if he deemed you at fault or not.
