In May, I got two tickets driving my civic. One for 15 km/h over the limit + another for driving with an expired license. I was actually going 30 over, but she reduced it. The cop actually let me drive off with my license still expired.

Speeding = $ 52.50
No license = $ 325

I went to court to see a justice of peace, but he could not get rid of these offence, only reduce the fine by like $100. On December 6, I am going in for a first attendance to see a prosecutor or an officer to discuss the charges. I am wondering if I can get the no license fine dropped? And also do you guys know if driving with an expired license (no license) will effect insurance rates?
