Unhappy 125 km/hr on DVP ticketed....

Got messed up today....

I was coming back from Downtown, I got on DVP and start driving on the express lane at 120 km/hr and drove for a pretty long time. I was with my mother.... anyways, the point is I got pulled over, out of 20 ppl that was in front of me doing the same thing. I was just following them...

I wanted to ask you guys, if anyone ever fought this type of ticket before, it is a $265 ticket and big time points. I have fought and won a 25 km/hr over ticket, but not sure if a 35km/hr can be won, I want to get it reduced to 10 over or something like that, that have no points involved.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

35 over? I thought the limit was 100 km/h. You were only 25 over, fight it like u did the last, and win.

Just curious...

How'd you fight off the over 25km/hr tick?

TauMax: go to the ticket fighter, but not jsut any ticket fighter, some are police organized and can get you in deep **** + they charge 3 times as much with no garantee of anything...

I have just talked to my agent and he says he can give me no points but a $50+ fine, I said, I don't care, that sounds good. His fees is as follows:

1 ticket or case = $125 for something like speeding.
1 case can be 11 tickets, lets say that you get pulled over for lowering, speeding, too loud, something small like that.... and you get it on the same day and sametime and the same guy give it to you. That is one case = $125

For the more extremely, one ticket can costs $200 - $700+. This cateogry includes: racing, running from the police etc... anything that includes JAIL time.

I have a friend that was ticketed for racing, and the other guy ran from the cops and got chanced down. Well, the guy that stopped for the cop, is my friend and was fined somewhere in the thousands + JAIL time and license suspension - he paid $600+ and a week after, he was fine. No jail time, nothing......

If anyone is interest in this guy, please let me know....

my driving instructor tells me to always go the same speed that traffic around me is going

if ppl infront of you are going 120 etc.. why the hell not? u'll only be slowing ppl down otherwise.

Talking

EK7_Drift Mania, what is your agent number?

I had a case 2 years ago. I was going 165km/h on 401 West heading to Chatam area. The cop lowered to 140 with 40 and over, try ticket fighter. Freakin, reduce a fine only, now with 4 points plus another 2 pts on the record.

It might be better jus to fight the case by yourself. That way there is a chance you will get maybe a point off or something.

Worst case, try POINTS.

CoconutDaniel - that is what mine said also, along time ago and I still remember it. Here's reality, if cops want to **** you up, they can do what ever you want. If you live in a neighbourhood that is near a crime scene, and your coloured, then you are a criminal, don't agrue, cause you can't!!!!!! period. Reference - CityTV today. That's just cops, ppl are not like that in Toronto, Metro Police don't even live in Toronto, they don't know one **** about Toronto, the watch TV and assumed Toronto is infested with crimes, TOO ******' BAD THEY KEEP PULLIN' PPL OVER FOR LIGHTS AND **** LIKE THAT, CAUSE WE'RE THE EASY ******' TARGET - THEY ARE AFFAIRD OF THE CRIMINALS TO DO ANYTHING. that's why there are so many crimes in the city, ppl with lights and a Civic don't cause troubles, trust me on this.

Sorry about that, just getting my frastration out. FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK!!!!!!!

GCS_SiR - His name is McKinnon, 416-291-7756 - don't talk to the male secratary, he is a jack ***, pure jack ***. Go there only if the Lady secratary is there. She will explain everything.

65Km over is hard to fight....

**** man...

I hear ya.

I got pulled over for allegly passing off the roadway on the 401...

The cop lied to the judge and said that she was behind me when I pulled onto the bullnose area to pass a car.

In reality she was 50 meters ahead of me.... so there's no way she could see where I was overtaking. In reality, I was overtaking in the merging lane...

The judge heard the discrepancy in our testimonies, and reduced my fine... but I still got 3 points.

Bitch *** OPP female COP.

Has anyone ever noticed that OPP officers are more likely to show up for court cases? It's like they have nothing better to do... Shouldn't they be out and hunting the real crimminals, like child molesters?!!?

Boggles my mind.

TauMax - OPP is the worst, yes OPP is Provincial and they don't have anything better to do most of the time. You lucky you got something in return, I heard OPP never lose, I personally have never dealt with OPP, but they scared me the most.

Anyone know what will happen with 3 points to your insurance.

You know what I think? I think insurance should not pay attention to these small things.

I also learned one thing from a friend. If you are speeding - say 20km over, they can say that you are racing, and that is the worst crime in court.

They keep changing the systems around, I think because of E.R.A.C.E.R. something like that. It is alot harder to fight racing tickets.

So you were using the merging lane to pass and you are upset that you were found guilty.

Technically, according to the HTA, passing in the merging lane is not against the rules.

I only happened to do it that day.

On any given day, I take my lumps with the rest of the backed up traffic.

The cop claimed I cut across the shoulder to get into the merging lane... which I didn't... I cut into the merging lane on the dotted white line...

The location is Martingrove, east on 401... now, they've extended the bullnose area and put plastic poles to discourage ppl from cutting the bullnose, but ppl still do it.

OPP love to hang out on the shoulder waiting for ppl to cut the bullnose...
they make a killing there!

Yah... I remember asking my insurance co... TD General, would the ticket increase my premiums? They said, that policy holders are given one "free" minor ticket... but that was last year when I asked... I'm afraid to call and find out now.

My insurance isn't up for renewel until October... I'm crossing my fingers.

I always speed 20 over ( >= 120 on 401 ) ... it's not that big a deal on 401... unless it's "quota" time for the ***** OPP ...
