Hey all,

I need a lower ball joint pressed out. The upright is off the car, I just need the joint pressed out and the new one pressed in.

Does anyone know of a Toronto (preferably Midtown) machine/press shop willing to press out/in joints?

take a hammer and do your worst. I have a balljoint press tool but unfortunately the way honda spindle is, it wont cup over the back of the ball joint. So having everything off, i took a pair of channel locks and a hammer and started going at it. having the spindle in a table vice helps a lot. Got it out with few smoke breaks and a beer.

If you have compressed air and an air chissel/hammer, that's what worked for me. Popped right out!

a BFH (big f'n hammer) will do the trick. We change em with everything on the car at the shop using a big hammer
