Tien S-tech Spring Install

does the taller spring go in the back or front?

There is a smaller spring and a longer spring.

Not sure which one goes on the back vs the front

How much of a length difference are we talking about?

Did you maybe put them in wrong? (front in the back, back in the front)?

Did the kit not come with any instructions/diagrams?

What car is this on? (year/model?)

If you matched them to the stock springs, I would guess you have them in the correct way. Did they come with height adjustable collars? If so, they should all be set to the same height. You may need to raise/lower the rear or front to achive the desired stance.

Ah didn't see this earlier. The thicker spring goes on the front. The skinny spring goes on the back.
When a shop was installing my springs, they mixed them up, and my coupe sat on the tires in the front and back was 3"+ higher than stock.

This isn't rocket science..

when you took the old springs out, which one was longer? Front or back? There's your answer.

FYI thick spring goes on the front, the longer spring goes on the back on most cars.

Several correct straight answers were given. Nobody said "I think".

You're right, that's why I said before if they matched them to the stock springs, it should be correct.

In our MR2 the stock springs were different in both length and width. The only visual difference with the race springs we put in was in the length, and it's only an inch or so.

The front ones are always thicker on fwd car since you have the engine sitting on that end. its as simple as that.

so it is normal for the front to sit a bit higher than the back (eg hatchback) when first installing the springs
