no 1.75 is approx. 1-2 finger gap so stock wheels will fit just fine. even if u slammed it stock wheels will fit. u might want to invest in a camber kit cause u will get camber ware on your tires.

i would think with 1.75 you should clear if not just roll the fenders what kinda car and what size stock wheels are you talking about ?

Oh you can slam the car to the ground. I had 195/60/15s for winter and they tucked just fine. I'm lowered about 2inches and with a lot of weight in the trunk, and covering half a tire I was fine. 205s when/if you buy rims, make sure you have the right offset.

Lol I got s-techs on my EG. They are soft springs, and if you decide to load up the car with some fat chicks, you will drop another inch. But I enjoy them, comfortable ride and still hold good on turns.

OP do NOT buy those sleeves. They will feel like crap, and will not be safe. Do suspension work once and do it right. Don't cut springs to save money or run 2+inch drop on stock struts. Srr to sound like an a$$ but that's the reality. Remember, you are not only your life in danger when driving wig improper suspension but it affect others on the road. If you decide that you can do corners at 100+ and you spin out, people around you are in danger too.

if your gonna use your stock struts might as well go for the springs with the lowest drop cus your ride is gonna become super bouncy so might as well stay as low as u can so u wont bounce all over the place man trust me its not a fun ride lol in my opinion save up for some coilovers or look for a used setup. and the sleeves dont know much about them but alot of ppl say their crap.

If you can't afford to lower a car, why are you doing it?

If you just lower on springs, your shocks will blow out thus causing pre-mature failure on your suspension parts and tires.

If you don't get a camber kit and alignment, you're tires again will wear out a lot quicker and you will have to replace them frequently.

Suspension is never something you want to cheap out on. Save your money, get a good spring/shock combo or a full coil-over a camber kit for the front and an alignment. This all will probably run you $1000-$1500 depending on what quality parts you get.

do it right the first time and get a set of springs (tein, h&r, eibach, gc sleeves etc) and koni yellows, koni reds , kyb agx, tokico d specs. Do not get a stock replacement like kyb gr2, tokico hp, monroe sensatrac, these can only handle a mild drop and are not inteded for lowereing like the koni yellow/red.

An alignment is something that people seem to forget about when doing suspension work. any imperfections in the alignment will only get worse when you lower the car, just because the car was wearing fine on the stock suspension doesnt mean the alignment is dead on. any time you do any suspension work eg. struts, springs, mounts. an alignment should be done right after it.

Camber is not so much an issue, toe is what destroys tires. when people see the inside of the tire is worn and the rest looks new its because the tire is scrubbing and needs an alignment. The closer the toe setting is to 0 the better, camber wear will not wear your tire out like toe wear.

Having a camber kit will extend the life of the tire no doubt when lowered and properly aligned, but when you see the inside edge or outside edge of the tire is wearing faster than the rest its more than likely toe wear.

.
I highly dis-agree.

They both ruin tires more-so camber I'd say. But it doesn't matter, if either camber or toe or off, the tire will be junk in no time

Yeah, there really is no point on cheaping out on suspension. Like mentioned above you can shop around and find a deal on a camber kit, they will save you money in the long run by not having to replace tires sooner than they need to be. IMO the benefits of lowering a car is, 1) A better handling car & 2) Looks. Save up that extra coin, and you won't regret it.
