Need Help with suspension setting
Hello Everyone
I am new to this forum as i just bought a 99 civic sir after my civic si was stolen last year...i m getting a 2 way viper alarm this time hope it helps!!
Anyways here's the question...my car is equipped with comptech sway bar and form and function coilovers which is about 2 inches low on SIR rims and i really dont know much about suspension as i never had my car lowered before. i noticed that the rear makes noise when i pass through a bump or drive a rough road even at slow speed.it seems as if the rear suspension is stiff/tight or mayb its too low i really don't know but i don't wana hear it...i am sure its a common issue with lowered cars so please help me out.
Thanks

You may want to check your sway bar end links. Sometimes they wear out, and therefore start causing noise.
Be more specific about the noise you hear, where is it coming from, and what does it sound like. The more info the easier to identify the issue.

ginny8787, what kind of noise?
Could be a number of things. Bushings, end links, wheel bearing(s)... Could even be your exhaust tapping against the control arm.
