koni yellow lower perch question

So i just bought a set of koni yellows for my ek and i'm deciding whether i should buy lowering springs OR to set the perch at the lower setting and installing a set of oem civic springs. Has anyone run this setup before (yellows with stock springs)? I heard it will lower the car approx 1.5 inches. I wouldn;t mind going a bit lower; does anyone know if there is an oem spring that willl fit my ek that will lower my car maybe a half inch more (eg; sir springs possibly?) I would like to stay away from lowering springs if possible and stay oem so i can have a smooth ride.
Also if someone is running this set up, feel free to post some pics !
thanks

Not sure if it'll effectively lower the car. BUT if it lowers the car, and the springs are too soft, then u could end up bottoming out quite a bit. If you want the slightly lowered look, and want to keep OEM characteristics, then try the H&R OE Sports.

yes, the OEM springs will be too soft at that drop - the chance of bottoming out your shocks increases exponentionally. if you're lowering you need to increase the spring rate.

Tein s-techs lower about 2" and are a comfy ride from my experience. Just my 2 cents.
