help me with coilover + suspension info

hey guys.. so drive a 95 civic coupe.. in the summer time i have rims on my car (in the winter i just have stock steelies).. in the summer when i have my 17" rims on, u can see threw them obviously.. and since i drive a 95 there's sum rust on sum parts.. so i was looking to replace my springs and throw sum coilovers on there.. what exactly is the difference between coilovers which i can grab for like 75 bucks for a set of 4, and a suspension kit that costs like 500 bucks??

below is a link to an ebay auction that i am looking at for coilovers.. what do u guys think of those?? will they be good for me year-round for years to come?? or will my car fall down driving on the highway 3 months after there installed.. note that they will be installed by a professional..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TODAY.m238.lVI

any info u guys can give me will be much appreciated.. thanks in advance...

the difference? lol....... sleeves can break, spring rate is ****, metal used in ebay coils are bouncy. Usually when you spend more, you get better stuff, like adjustable shocks with the coilover sleeves, or you can get full coils. If you want to go really low, youre gonna get better shocks.

Im waiting on the same coil overs that i bought off ebay i got mine for 50$ shipping included. i dont plan on raceing the car or driving fast dew to the new laws(just for looks) so for 50$ its a pretty smoken deal. im going to install myself but im gunna upgrade on the shocks. im also gunna wait till the spring to do this because im already plowing my driveway with my body kit lol when the kit comes in ill tell you what i think about them and i can let you no what i think after there installed. Im pretty sure my buddy has the same on his 92HB and his car seems to ride good!

I strongly, strongly advise not to buy these...they are absolutely the biggest waist of money, and will only hurt your suspension in the long run. Today i just did my suspension, not because i wanted to but because the previous owner decided to buy ebay coil overs, and blew the rear struts...I would get regular drop springs over ebay coil overs any day...

Yeah cheap coil overs are no good. On stock shocks (until they blow) they're absolute garbage. On aftermarket shocks they're not as bad, but you're much better off with lowering springs.

Remember, theres a reason there only $25.

True, you get what you pay for.
Those are junk, don't ruin your car.
