Garages that install shocks for a good price

Anyone know of any reliable garages that install shocks for cheap in the Toronto/Scarborough/Brampton/Mississauga area? I got a quote from a store selling springs that do installs for $150. My personal mechanic mentions it'll take 1.5 hours per shock to install and he chargin $75 per hour, per wheel.

Let me know!

1.5 hours per wheel??? They have sloths for mechanics?...lol

$150 for labour for swapping all four corners seems not too bad.

If you have the tools and are mechanically inclined you can do em yourself...not too difficult. A spring compressor is the only speacial tool you'd need.

I believe that's just for the labour. I was calling to inquire about price on springs and thats what the store quoted me install costs. Not sure why that's the amount the store would charge in total to install but my mechanic would charge about $450 to do it.

even 200 is a bit much. The only worry about changing the struts is the rear lca bolt. Everything else is cake.

If you have tools and some time on your hands, i could probably help you out. I've done that more than once and i know how to help you out.

I paid $180 at Defcon racing. I dropped my car off in the morning, cause i didnt have time to wait around, and picked it up in the evening when i was done. If you call ahead of time (ie. 1 day or so), am pretty sure they could do it quick. They are at bayview and john st i think. Markham area. Or, option jdm does installs now too, so try and give them a call too. Shouldn't be more than $200, imo.
