^If your spring rates are right, you don't need a sway bar.

...and, for a track setup, you're better off without any bars.

So if you take a bonestock Integra type R and remove the swaybars front and rear ONLY you really think it will run a faster lap time.

Not necessarily true. This depends on the way the driver wants the car to behave, and depends on the set up of the course. Some drivers may want their car to rotate more for example...

Everyone has their own preference and their own theories and methods to setting up a car.

Mine is a little more out of the box and goes against what most people think. But it works unbelievably well and believe it or not, is nearly identical to method and math used on pure race cars. (F1, lemans...etc...) It's based on vehicle weight, weight distribution, drive train layout, suspension geometry etc.. and the idea is to achive equal and balanced tire loading.

Using sway bars as a means of controlling body roll attitude in a corner will produce more inconsistant behaviour and reduce machanical grip because by the nature and function of the sway bars, they directly effect and change the wheel rates. On pure race cars, small thin sway bars are used, but only as a trimming device. Their main function on a race car is not to control body roll. The springs control body roll at a specific rate and amount, independently at each corner/wheel of the car.
