Front end not lowered ( barely ) with neuspeed springs

Drop is front-2.25/Rear - 2.0 in

The back has dropped. The front has barely any drop at all. Any reason why this can be? I have Neuspeed spriongs for all trims (civic ) and it has lowered ( mayyyyybe half an inch. Anybody give me some advice?

I don't believe springs came in all trims. Usually they come specfic for the models since the engines will vary. Coils are universal as they are adjustable but springs will sit specific to the weight of a specific car.
Many things can be the problem. Obvious one is u bought a civic sir set of springs and installed it on a base civic. Other problems are did u buy it used? Any guarantees that the set is indeed complete and same specs?
Since civics are physically interhangeable with pretty much most hondas and acuras. Is it specific for a civic?
Last thing I can think if is the install may be done wrong.

the difference between front sprngs for heavier motor like B compared to D, is very minor and hard to tell but if you have lets say 2.5" all way around you will be able to tell.
install cannot be wrong, its almost impossible to mess it up. unless the springs arent sitting in the top hats straight or in the bottom of the struts.
if you were to mix up the springs front with back, you would be slammed in the front and jacked in the back.

Are they neuspeed "race" or neuspeed "sport" springs ?
the race springs drop 2.25" front and 2.0" rear. The sport springs drop 1.5" front and 1.0" rear
Also, it takes about a good few weeks for the springs to settle if they are new.

possibly reversed springs?

you got the fronts in the back
and the rears in the front?

that would most likely happen

and mentioned before

this is my vote as well

to figure out if its reversed,

The short springs are the front

and the longer springs are the rears

did you loosen then re-torque the bolts for things like the control arms? if the bolts are seized into the bushings then they could be holding up the car until they eventually break.

they cannot be mixxed up. because back ones are softer then fronts. when you install them like that, you will have the front slammed since the springs are soft and motor will weigh it down and back jacked since they are made to take engine weight and the back is light. maybe they just need to settle, drive over some bumps, let them work in, see how that turns out.

Thanks boys. Actually I found out wen I was there I don't have a front sway bar. I assume that can make a huge difference as it keeps pressurenon the front end ?

swaybar will not have affect on the hight of the car. Make sure that the bottom of the shock is properly seated in the lower forks. Please post what the numbers of the springs are on the front and which are on the back.

Im pretty sure the long ones go up front as they hold up more weight. The rears get the shorter ones.

The coil size is the same but the lenght is different

-Coil spring of EF on EG = more drop of 1''

-Coil spring of EG on EK = .5'' more drop

-Coil spring of EK on EG = pick up look...

My two cents.

neuspeed sportline (green springs) dont drop the car very much and always sit high on the front. Same thing happend on my ek hatch even after my B16 swap it was still high on the front. I ended up selling the springs and getting the neuspeed race.
