Hey TCC,

Picking up some final suspension parts and have a question regarding a ASR Subframe brace & 24mm sway bar. I picked up a beaks tie bar and I've seen people with the brace/24mm sway bar + beaks tie bar setup but I haven't seen it on an EF so will the beaks tie bar work with this setup for the EF or will I have to get longer bolts so I can bolt on the bar?

Anyone with this setup please help me out !

If you're using the brace, the tie bar is useless. Save your money.

The brace is actually WAY more effective then the tie bars. You've already reinforced the rear subframe more than enough with the brace.

But the choice is yours. If you want to use them both, I guess you'll just have to see if it fits.

The ASR kit that's in the picture with the Beaks bar is the first gen version of the kit. That design had a flat face on the rear side and came with extended LCA bolts.

Apparently they had quality issues with those bolts and modified the design. I have the newer one on my EK and it is an order of magnitude more solid than a tie bar.
