right...

he needs a spring compressor and 10 bucks says his lca bolts are seized to the bushing.

If your gona do it yourself, get the strut assembly, get a shop to fire off the lca bolts and put lots of anti-seize on them then put them back in.

And ill help you install your struts. Should take an hour and change.

^^^ agreed don t even try to do the rears without a torch.... the front are easy but the LCA bolts in the rear are almost ALWAYS seized.

I'm really happy with my eibach sportline springs for 3 years, nice firm yet smooth ride, stiff enough for the track.

H&Rs are probably the most aggressive riding springs, best for track.

i have h&r sports, ride is comfortable, however these arent meant for super handling, they are for street use. maybe the race springs would give you really good handling, but wont be as comfortable.

The Prokit springs are only about a 1" drop while the H&R Race are 2.5". Quite a difference.

HR sports on a 96 are 1.75 drop in the front and 1.5 in the rear. You dont need a camber kit, just an alignment when you put them in. The HR race will need a camber kit if you are doing daily driving so you dont chew the tires and blow one on the 401 or something.

Totally. This job can turn into a nightmare fast if you snap those seized bolts.

just go H & R sports.... but before you buy make sure they are ligit and re check the lowering specs on the box before you pay for them because almost every company has a couple diferent springs.

eibach prokit or H&R sports are both good choices, both are roughly 1.5" drop. Buy one or the other and dont look back. Sometimes u can get great deals on the net like ebay for these springs or try northern motorsport on rennie street.

Yeah northern quoted me at $285 for the prokit taxes in, I ended up going with the sportlines and love the ride.
