You need to use the old D-series A/C compressor, lines and all then you need the 97-01 CRV A/C bracket.
The D-series A/C lines dont fit the B-series A/C compressor

Yes you NEED to convert to OBD1 and use a chipped p28, you can't really chip your stock ECU, so converting to OBD1 is the solution.

my b16 revving at 4200-4500rpms on the highway used to get 400-450kms to a tank, but thats a b16, not a b20vtec. The b20vtec is obviously going to consume more fuel since its of larger displacement....

A typical s/c'd typeR makes about 220whp @ 7psi

A typical turbo'd typeR makes about 270-300whp @ 7psi dependin on the setup.

$6000 would be enough to do a swap and a turbo it, if you did most of the work yourself.

Realistically, a swap costs $3000 (give or take, depending on which engine goes in) and a good turbo kit...
