never would have thought of a flash in the day...that would have brightened up the front of the bird?

#5 is my fave too, drove up and saw the mist..."score" is what i thought.

it's called fill-flash Steve
when the background is really bright, to where exposing for the subject will blow out the rear (over expose) a flash works nicely to even things out....meter for the background, pop up the flash (or mount if using external ) and shoot..
if it's off some you can reduce the amount of flash to pull things in line, means of doing that are in the manual or "matrix metering" the subject with the flash up should accomodate as well as it takes into account the entire "scene" in your viewfinder

good shots mon ami

neither!!! find a good used d70s/d70/d50...these new entry cameras are getting cheaper and cheaper and they add frills to the option list and take away useful stuff like the dedicated information LCD (now they put it on the big main display which consumes more battery), also you are limited to lenses that have built in motors...these new entry levels are basically point and shoots with removable lenses IMHO

It's probably too big (excedes the limit 800 pixels in width). It's in the official thread rules, ForSale.

Just PM Sal (szuberi) and ask what happened to your pics. That's the only way to get to the bottom of it.

It was +10 yesterday, so after a quick wash I snapped a few before that nasty storm takes its toll on shiny car lol.

good shots xray...also try shooting at an upward angle (focusing up) when taking such macros....you will be amazed with the results.

^Lol. I had only 1 hour to wash before I had to get to work. No time to enjoy the nice warm weather yesterday. Thanks for complement.
