My pictures are all too large to post and I don' want to resize them ha ha!
But I saw a muskrat, rabbit, ducks, birds, squirrels and yesterday at the zoo I saw lots and lots of animals =D

why not?
it's good for landscapes (since you're on a walk anyway, just walk furthur away )
good for close-ups (the 1.8 is pretty damn sharp, equal to the 1.4) since you have the ability to crop
for the $ it's the best piece of Nikon glass available

when i go walking, sal....i spend 80% of the time on the ground picking myself up. you would be surprised at whats on/in the ground...the min. distance for this lens is .75' so i get nice close shots. the manual focus and no zoom is strange to get used too. so is the f1.8....my other lenses dont go below f4.
