i find compact flash cards are more expensive than SD. i got a 8GB compact flash from best buy on a sale for $99.

CF will never be as cheap as SD as SD is in everything and CF cards are now generally only in pro-prosumer DSLR cameras....they have come down in price since they first came out but will never be 10bucks like SD cards are
