That's a pretty nice portfolio. What camera do you use for your work?

Same, but you have got to love a computer for making every thing just right, but still very very nice portfolio of cars.

thanks guys. I have a canon 40D with a battery grip and with a polarizer so far. A lot of the effects of course are post production. Photoshop and lightroom help out extremely. I took graphic design back in college so it all incorporates. Cant wait till the summer! More pictures to come! More cars, more everything

This is what my camera looks like...

With this lens, which kinda sucks. But we are upgrading to L glass soon

Enjoy guys!

^^ I used to own one of those, but don't anymore

L glass rocks, used to own one. I would suggest you buy a prime lens or two.

GL with your business. Pictures look good.

50D is better only in the features and the 50D has more megapixel. which doesnt mean much. thats about it.

i see, i want to get started taking pictures semiprofessionally, so im looking for something that will be good for the next 2-3 years while i build up my portfolio. Will a 40D do or should i spent the extra ~300 for the 50D?

Honestly. Their isnt a big difference between the 40D and 50D like i said. The megapixel is increased and a few features. Other than that, you are paying for nothing else. You can get a nice second hand 40D with a battery pack and extras for the same price as a brand new 50D without that stuff. I would recommend a second hand 40D or a new one. Which ever you want. Pm me if you have any questions. You can see my work on Welcome to ienvision.ca and see the quality. All pictures are taken with the 40D.
