Focal Length Test

Just playing around with my new tele zoom lens. All shots were handheld.

First Shot:
70mm, f8, 1/500, ISO400


Second Shot:
148mm, f8, 1/500, ISO400


Third Shot:
300mm, f8, 1/500, ISO400


For a 180 dollar lens...i am not complaning

as rajiv indicated...its a tamron and even with the regular price...its a bargain at $200. i researched over and over again for many weeks the three lenses in this category. the other two were the canon usm ($240) and sigma apo dg ($299). also tested all three (well briefly inside the shop) and ultimately decided to go for tamron.

i am very satisfied so far with its performance..although i dont plan on using it in lowlight cuz thats not what it is designed to do. there is some vignetting and chromatic abberation but the glass is fairly entry level so thats expected.

lemme know if you wanna talk more bro.
