what do you guys think of the canon SD1000? i am looking for a point and shoot that will allow me SOME creativity (starter camera)

among other things....an OEM supplied Li Ion battery and charger is always a plus. Dell.ca is selling this as a combo with the cam, lowepro case and 1gb memory for 229. sounds like a good deal to me.

Thanks a lot for the feedback everyone. I know you guys are all experienced with cameras and i have seen you work so if you say its good than it sounds good to me!
