Rajiv...what do you have in mind? NYC specially Manhattan in my opinion is more symbolic of its architecture, among other things. No other city showcases the fusion of design and art better than Manhattan in the form of old and new for over 200 years. From a photography perspective, there are parks, meuseums, shoreline etc. but still the most prominent subject one can find are all these buildings which are just fascinating.
Sure but there are cool buildings elsewhere. There are 5 boroughs in New York city, you explored one of them. Your photo essay didn't reflect the true essence of the city, just the swanky rich side which I saw as misleading and that was my main issue.

If your emphasis is on architecture, I'd have photographed Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, Shea Stadium and the World's Fair towers in Queens, the Subway Stations, the Apollo theater in Harlem (the part of Manhattan you DIDN'T photograph) just to name a few.

You might wanna correct it and say "NYC is a great place to go" instead of NY....or else it will be misleading

Great pic's, I like the one with the cab (3rd one) in the foreground. It's such a busy place, but amazing.
