U2NDyno.com 240sx - 2008 Version

Haven't provided aby updates recently for some of the folks here...so here are a few pics of the progress this summer. This was a project that should have been completed in April but with dynoing and racing and just general life, it is taking a bit longer.

In March, the car went for caging, it took a will but it got back in one piece. Should be awesome.

Decided this year to scrap the AEM and run an Autronic SM4. Not quite as plug-and-play as the EMS. Um...wiring!?!

I expoded some rockers arms last year so this year have opted for a "fresh" SR20. Had to clean it up a bit and coat some stiff. Blingin'.

Here a few shots of the harness after some sorting and Raycheming. The harness will likely all be tucked and super clean.

Back in the car now with some custom SG-Motorsport.com chargepipes. You gotta love this.

Time for some exhaust work. Now that's different. Dr.Jeckyl and Mr.Hyde.

So, not much more to go. Get the cage cleaned up a bit (long story), reinstall the interior complete with new buckets,
complete the engine harness, add some gas and tune the Autronic.

300rwhp+ and this setup should be fun for some circuit/time attack action.

Thanks guys, tried to start the car yesturday. Setup a base file for the SM$ which seems to be good, but had some issues get spark to the coilpacks. Looks like agrounding issue but the car should fire very very soon.

Managed to lay a quick tune on the car. Here you can see the power difference between the exhaust dump open and closed. Open the car made 335rwhp and 305tq at 15psi. There is no boost control on the car right now so I'll tune to 20psi in the near future.

Found some time recently to build my Autronic SM4 --> ViPEC V44 Jumper Harness.

Before

During

After - still needs loom

Building this harness lets me swap back and forth between Autronic and ViPEC in seconds. I plan on doing some back-to-back dyno testing.
