TRD Lovers

Any ppl on here into toyotas?

I've got an 87 MR2 SC my friends and I bought and have been modifying to compete in solo II events.

Mods:
Springs (don't know what they are, but they are not stock)
Falcon Azenis tires
battery moved to front
water to air intercooler (lowered intake air temps by over 100 degrees)
SC pully kit 12psi boost (stock is 7-8psi)
EDIS ignition system
Megasquirt stand alone ECU with innovative wide band O2.
Unorthodox racing full-kevlar unsprung race clutch

We're going to dyno tune it tomorrow morning

Anyone else have a cool toyota?

Post up!

That looks like the 90-91 4Runner front end...should have gone with the 92-95 4Runner front end with bumper.

Bought my old man's truck, gave me deal I couldn't resist.

yes it is the 90-91 4x4 grill. The other grill required me buying the rad support, headlights and other stuff, which was a tad pricey.I opted for this and besides everyone does the other swap. But i do have the 92-95 4 runner bumper with a 89 2wd chrome valance and billet insert in it.

Damn! Didn't think they were that much work for the updated front end....either way your truck is going to look awesome!

Down the road, have you considered swapping in the 3.4 V6 and supercharge it?

There's a vid of the MR2 on the dyno on saurday. Picked up 18whp just by adding +6 degrees timing.

Wow! nice rolla...you have the 4age under the hood? If so, the possibilities are endless for mods. Get a set of formula atlantic cams for that thing and your laughing. We have a set of formula atlantic cams sitting at home waiting to go in our MR2...

I love those wheels too. What are they and where did you get them?
