^^ Loving that 1970's looking couch (sorry I had too)

As far as coilovers, the Yonaka, D2, and K-Sport are probably all made in China, therefore the quality of coilover (or lack there of) may be the same.
Get the TIEN since they are designed, engineered and manufactured in Japan to exacting specifications.

Whew it's been a bit since I have updated :P

I have done some minor upgrades/maintenance stuff to get things moving for this year. I have a date with the body shop in mid-April to get all that darn rust removed, panels cut out and new metal put in (I am not doing it the cheap bondo way), and re-sprayed the original colour.

I have replaced the following so far this year with...
- NGK V-Power Spark Plugs
- Serpentine Belt
- PCV Valve
- Oil pan gasket
- Fuel Filter
- STP Fuel Injector cleaner

The oil pan gasket looks like it was changed before but who ever did it didn't bother to take off the old gasket and just put a cork gasket on over top. Made sure all of the old gaskets were off and cleaned the entire pan up inside and out, Used RTV Ultra Black gasket maker and it worked great. I have since checked for leaks and I don't see any sweat what so ever which is great. We let the car drain all night and once we put the pan back on, we let it cure for 24hrs before replacing with fresh oil and a new Mazda filter.

The fuel filter was clogged solid. It wasn't even an oem filter.. It was super small, and very corroded. My fuel mileage is 10x worse than what it was before but it eliminated the stalling out and hesitation.

Over all it was a small tune up but it solved many issues and the car is running great. I replaced both outer cv boots at the end of last summer and my passenger side boot ripped in half the other weekend.. Yay for quality. I just received that new boot yesterday and now I am waiting for my brand new, oem o2 sensors to arrive sometime this week. I found a great deal online for all four. The dealer wants $600+ for new ones, I found this lucky price and got them all for $300.

The car goes to the body shop in mid-April, Probably be gone for a few weeks. She needs to have the windshield taken out to get at the roof rust and a-pillar rust, Sunroof needs to come out for rust repair, Rear quarter panels need to be cut out and replaced with new metal, Trunk lip has rust, Rockers have surface rust, Spoiler needs to be removed for rust repair, Hood needs rust repair and little dents, dings all over the car. I am going to get it re-sprayed the same colour

Next on the list is...
98+ 626 Rear Calipers
Power window switch (determining that today)
Brake pads all around
Struts & Springs

Looking forward to coming out to another meet in the Spring. I had great fun at the last meet I went too and met some really nice people

Hope everyone had a great christmas and new years.

Ta ta for now.
