Smile NEW user here

So this is something new to me...... the civic that is, Ive had a s13 for the past 2 years great cars and hope to get another one day but right now I'm in the market for a civic HB 5speed (eg6 style). I'm looking for a CX model but any will do.
Any tips on things to look out for when buying would be great and if anyone is selling let me know.
one more thing to add I'm looking for a stock civic no mods please.

Thanks & hello everyone

Welcome!
I would suggest looking for a civic with a good body. Motor does not really matter [well it does but...]. Body work is more expensive than civic motors. What are your goals for the car? What's the budget?

right now I just need it to get me from a-b. My budget tops is 2500 cause I have to move in 2 months but in the near future I hope to do.

suspension/wheels
better engine type unknown(cause I don't know jack about civics) but I do know I want to rock the NA POWER
headers/ intake /catback exhaust

just try to make it a fun dd that maybe sees the track once in awhile

For 2500$ you will either gonna get a rust bucket with a decent motor, or clean body with lotsa miles on the motor. Again i would suggest going for the body. For motor, you could swap the "oh so famous" b16 or any b series motor for that matter, or get a zc and build it. Either way with some $$ it will be quick.

Srr trying to make as much sense as possible but my mind doesn't wanna think. Too tired.
