new guy from thunder bay ontario

hey guys im ray, I live in thunder bay Ontario, im a true Honda enthusiast, ive owned more civics and other Hondas than I could count lol
I currently own a 94 civic sedan and a 93 civic coupe,
the sedan is my project im building for cruising around this summer, the coupe I just bought as a parts car for the sedan, I intend on pulling thengine/trans out of the coupe and dropping them in the sedan,
also have a full stainless exhaust for the sedan etc.
I intend on lowering it down with some decent coilovers and some 15x8 wheels on it. should look good.

when I part out the coupe ill start a thread on here to see what people need.

i will be started a project thread shortly just gotta get all the pics uploaded.
im pulling the ar into the garage on sunday and gonna start removeing the old engine blok that's in it then gonna start a wire tuck/ engine bay shave, also thinking of doing a brake line tuck/reroute.. then put some fresh paint down in the clean engine bay,
for now im going to stick with the d15b7 engine that's in the coupe, I will remove it then clean it all up and give it a fresh coat of paint (same with trans) and reroute all wiring to hide it better, I have a spare valve cover im going to be airbrushing before installing it.

hopeing to have this car all finished and on the road before summer.

Sounds good man. Love the mighty D series. I never swapped to a B when I had my civic. I'm driving a teg now so I'm B series now. But if the cars all about show, then the D can clean up real nice. I'd do the brake line tuck while you're at it. Make as much as you can disappear!

Funny how views can change over time, I used to say if you wanted a clean bay, drop your D out, shave/tuck everything and go B, if you want power, keep the D and boost the crap outta it. Now I prefer a good strong NA B series, but also feel a D can carry the delete anything unnecessary to making the car roll theme of a tucked bay that much farther, one cam is all you need.
