New EK hatch

hello civic forumz,

Just bought my first civic as a daily driver the car is decent pretty well rust free needed rear brakes SO i decided to dive right in and do a rear disc brake conversion.

the clutch is on its way out as well but I am going to drive it until it ***** out and find a better replacement.

this is my first civic, everyone keeps telling me how easy they are to work on so I hope they are right

They are very easy to work on. Did the clutch on my 00' SiR by myself in about 6 hours and had never done it previously. :P

Welcome to the site. If you have any technical questions, feel free to search or post up in the tech section.

Yep. It's in my sig, layin rubber...

Nothing special. 89 NA 5 speed targa, basically stock. Bought it back in November 2011 and put a new head gasket in. Runs like new.

What year is yours? Turbo? Do you still have it on the road? Any pics?

Here's another of mine:

Some fun last winter.

Thumbs up To being new

Get a lightweight act flywheel and a good stiff clutch and have fun with it! Welcome to the club!
