Afraid not, the only Hondas I've driven were a tricked out Prelude and a stock CRX. I've always had classic minis and VW's before now.

Few things to suggest:

-Keep your current rims (15"?) and put some snow tires on them for when winter rolls around (you'll be glad to have them).

-Pick up a set of oem 15" or light-weight 15 or 16" aftermarket rims (any larger will only hurt performance) (can find some good deals out there) and put a good set of all-season/performance tires on. That will help performance to a degree.

-A cold air intake on that motor will mostly just change the sound, but is a nice cheap enhancement. Dresses up the engine bay a bit too.

-Install a set of eibach sport line lowering springs with a set of ride height adjustable collars. With this setup you don't have to change the whole struts/dampers, just the springs. Will give you a nice drop for the summer and a bit tighter handling, and you can raise it back up for winter driving (can be done when switching to the snow tires/wheels with simple hand tools).

I'm only looking at 15"-16" wheels. I've had past problems with wheels being too large and following road imperfections too much.

Those are my exact reasons for even considering a CAI. No point trying to push this engine harder, not with this piss poor speed limit you guys have!

Can you point me to some of those springs and collars?

I've taken a look around and I assume I'm looking at the eibach sportline code 4.5140. Will these just fit onto the oem struts? What ride height collars should I be looking at?

Welcome new 7thgen owner. Unfortunately, our cars (01-05) got the short end of the stick in regards to our powerplant. With Our D17's you wont see alot of gains or improvement with just plain bolt ons Unless you are willing to dish out the money for the high end parts and have yourself a built motor. If not, a K series engine swap is your best bet for more gains and play with parts.

Strut Bars, if you look around ebay, you'll find different strut bars ranging from the cheap generic strut bars to the Megan Racing, and Tanabe strut bars. From $20 - $150. Now most of these strut bars wont clear any SRI or CAI you put on your car. The only one would clear the SRI and the CAI is the Neuspeed strut bar which are hard to find from a local sale.

CAI -> AEM V2 is the best CAI we can have on our cars.

Get your hands on a OEM lip kit, drop the car and get wheels and you'll be good. Or if you ebay it and spend the extra $50 ($100 for a Polyurethane lip) is much more durable than the regular ABS plastic.

Yeah i used to have a saxo vtr, loads of my mates had vts's and one had a clio 172. All great cars. Welcome anyway!

lol, traffic in UK is far more horrible then here. yes speed limit is bit higher but whats the point when there are speed cameras everywhere, even on motorway. now they even have smart cameras that average your speed, time and distance traveled from camera 1 to camera 2 and you get ticket if you are higher then the posted speed :D

I can not say in the country side areas, but it is pretty bad where i go, when i am in UK.
