do you want to put the factory motor back in or engine swap?

derick.l 09-Jan-2011 11:50 PM

if your on a buget D15B VTEC should cost you $500 for a low km JDM one, a b-series would be alot of fun thoe

95CoupeSi 10-Jan-2011 12:11 AM

yea kinda want to go with a B16A VTEC with a stanless header and stainles exhaust i wont need it on the road till spring

95CoupeSi 10-Jan-2011 12:14 AM

o and is it just me or does it look like my drivers door is a different shade of red?

Welcome to the club!

To be honest, save yourself some money and swap in a b20. Will cost you A LOT less and will be quicker.

Check out the engine sub-section of the tech area for more info.

Welcome!.

Looks like a good project car!

95CoupeSi 10-Jan-2011 04:51 PM

thanks its not a bad car hoping to tow it home with my dads truck and a wheel dolly in a week of 2 so i can pull the interior and give it all a good clean. i got the car for free from my dads friend the #3 sparkplug broke off in the head and he needed a car. i sold a 1997 grand am coupe to my step brother who ripped me off then got a dui in it with no plates and the car was still regerstered to me i had 5 days to give 500 bucks to impiund or else it would become there car and id have to pay the 4200 for it. so my dads buddy said he will pay the 500 but in return he gets to keep the car so i went for it and when i went to go meet with him with the new copy of the ownership he gave me the keys to this and told me i can have it.
