Lovin my civic

I have a 2010 honda civic i just installed a new short ram intake and now my check engine light is comin on can anyone tell me why?

check to make sure you didn't accidentally leave any sensors disconnected that you may have pulled from the old intake or moved to make room.

Ill check it out and get back to you ...I also was told the ecu is trippin because it knows its not a stock intake.....I dont know tho mad respect

I have a real hard time beliving that an intake on a civic would cause a code. You must've either left something unhooked, or forgot to plug it in for a sec, started the car and then plugged it in, or maybe if there is a sensor that plugs into the new intake tube, the gromet around it is stopping it from getting a proper reading and that could be the source of the propblem.

Go to part source or napa, get the code pulled. I know part source does it for free.
