i work and live in the shwa
i currently work at mills pontiac buick as a apprentice
i'm really not that sure what i want to do with the civic other than get a full funtional auto trans for it cause the one i have is starting to slip but that is another topic
i was into modin jeeps and trucks for mudding and now i've turned to the race world
so hello and opinions and ideas are always welcome for my ride

race+auto=fail. sorry but Honda auto tranny's are crap to begin with and auto for race, unless your talking about some purpose built drag cars, the added rotatrional mass alone will make you much slower then most other standard civics.
Keep you car stock and use it as a daily driver. Save some coin and buy a older lighter EF/EG and make that a track toy, find a nice CRX and the weight gets even better (not couning the Del Sol CRX, they are heavier then Civics)
