99ek hatch D7minimi tuned turbo w blown block. First Honda build on a car.

Over the last 28 years of driving I have owned one Honda, a prelude I bought for 500.00. One of many daily beaters. I became a little more established bought a home with a garage. It didn't take long for me to find a Motorsport hobby. I chose vintage sport bikes. A cb750four, 2 86 vfr750's (my passion) and a Yamaha seca.
I had an accident on one of my VFR's 120 hp at the wheels and realized quickly that I was 44.
I have started the bike selling process and have found a project to tackle with 4 wheels.
I bought a 99 ek hatch (civic) it has a y7 block ( BLOWN ) y8 heads I believe the y8 intake. It has the upper price range eBay turbo, intercooler exhaust with it. I'm assuming I can change the turbo to a garret later, if I can actually accomplish this repair.
I have bought it as it sits with little information. I'm desperate to find a Honda community to help me find parts, give advice, and make a few friends.

I KNOW A SWAP TO A DUAL VTEC WOULD BE FASTER AND PROBABLY CHEAPER IN THE END.

I just really want to bring this ek back to life, and continue on the path of the previous owner.
When I finish I'm sure I will be looking into a new build with big performance. For now, this will be good practice and won't exceed my current skill level, and my tools and resources.
Bikes to cars is a big jump.

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you've got big plans, but reasonable enough. Hope your build goes well...there are a few threads with members doing their own and the progress. Feel free to start a thread to show the steps you take and how it's coming along.
