That wasn't the point. the point is the proximity to downtown/manhattan, rich people...etc etc.

also, NYC of the 70s is nothing close to what it is today.

i.e. I just walked parts of Harlem a few weeks ago that 20-30 years ago no white man would have ever stepped foot around.
