Everyone needs to keep in mind red light running isn't always ignorance and people in a hurry. When I'm on patrol, I'm on the road for 12 hours straight and I've made my fair share of mistakes, especially after a double shift. Most times it's people simply not paying attention! I'm sure there's more than a few members on here who were simply talking with a passenger or on their phone and didn't notice a light went red. I've sailed through one or two COMPLETELY BY ACCIDENT. Had nothing to do with being in a hurry.

Not justifying it happening, just saying the comments like, "Red light runners should be shot" are kinda general and unnecessary..

I completely disagree with you. If I run a red light tomorrow, smash into your dear mom and grandma and kill them both, I'll just say "Sorry bro, I had a long day, I'm tired and I was reaching for the mobile and wasn't paying attention. Hope you understand"

If you're not paying attention, don't drive a 2500lb death machine. So I stand by my comment that red light runners should be shot.
