lets put it this way.... mac stands for macintoshes amazing computer.....and pc stands for PIECE of CRAP.... lol
i used to be all pc... but once i started using macs... i was still all pc... but once i actualy learned how to use a mac..... all i can keep saying about pc's is PEICE OF CRAP... lol....
does vista have tabs too.... probably.... best thing about a mac is... its not a pc... so no matter what you windows users try...you'll never be a mac ..

lots of debate of pc vs mac
i fully agree that mac's have a crapload of advantages, but pc's are more widespread, easier to find software easier to get help, troubleshoot, etc...
for most people pc is much better choice

yeah but the thing is... that pc's are more likly to have something go wrong then a mac.. and i speak from personal experience.... so although its easier to gett your pc fixed... that doesn;t matter... i mean my sister got her pc same time i got my mac... the pc has had a few problems since then and my mac has had nothing... so don't you think it would have been better for her to deal with no problems instead of some jsut because its easier to get them fixed because its a pc.... naw thats like buying a car that you know will have problems only because you know there is a garage that specializes in those cars just down the street from you... i think id still buy a reliable car... and in this case i bought a reliable computer.... only people i know that are actualy 100 percent happy with there pc are the kinda people that know everything about there pc so when something happens they fix it no problem..... to them its just routin... but for the majority of pc users theres always something about there computer that pisses them off....
i always remember having so many painful times with my pc.... the biggers problem i've had with my mac in the last 3 years was trying to figure out how to use all its cool features ... and even that wasn't too hard... lol

if i were to build a PC with the same amount of money that i would spend on a mac i could easily bypass the specs of most G series macs .. i mean they arnt cheap .. 2000 - 3000 and sometimes even higher ... and the fact that mac has no virii .. heh .. its just a matter of time im sure .. problem is .. ITS A MAC .. no one cares enuff to tamper and play with thier OS .. once more ppl have MACs things will surface and then the mac users will see .. its just like any other PC ... give me 3500 bux and ill build a PC BEAST ... for now yes they are stable and virus free .. but in the end .. its just one of thos "trendy" items that certain ppl MUST have ... just ask the avg MAC user how much they spend on software / accessories compared to a PC user ...thats more than worth it to me right there ... :rollseyes"

lol macs are great and all... but pc's are everywhere, let's be honest... MAC missed the boat on the computer 'revolution' so to speak by keeping everything proprietary instead of sharing their technology around like what happened with PCs... because only Mac can make Macs there aren't any cheaper models of them for people that can't afford the full MAC version like there are for pc's how you can buy a crappy entry level PC for like 499 with a monitory and keyboard and speakers these days... that's unheard of for a mac... this has resulted in a smaller market share for Mac which means less people are willing to develop programs and stuff etc...
macs are great, but like their tv commercials they do photos and home movies (and really anyone knows that for most ppl that do home movies and do photos @ home a pc will do just fine.. more options for free software off the net etc..cuz ppl rip it)
until mac becomes the more widespread computer (which i don't think it will ever be, not anymore) i'm sticking with PC...
i haven't had any major probs with any of my PC's (cross my fingerS)...

everysingle program i have on my mac was free... downloaded off the web...that includes my creative suite, extensis suitecase, quark, flash professional8, toast titanium, the microsoft office collection, and also my intire collection of intendo emulators with all the mario games in existence and then some... lol.... at some point i will have to buy them... but i mean it cost the same for the pc version of the programs...
its not hard to find it.... you just need to know how to do it...
but i agree on one thing... macs are freaken expensive...... i paid as much as i paid for my car for my mac.... but to tell you the truth its been worth it...
also.... most mac users you can say are bias... as are pc users... a pc is a gateway computer.. lol..... most people start off with pc and eventualy go to try a mac.. and end up loving it... so mac users usualy have experience with both as where pc users don;t.... so for a pc user to compare the two is usualy pointless since they don't speak from experience.... but i only speak of the majority of people... im sure there are some that tried a mac and said **** this ****.. lol
so the above comment about having to buy the programs is just stupid.... and the guy who agrees with it, only because someoen says it, is just as stupid..... don't knock it untill you try it or have experience with it... then you can bash it all you like and i'll just have to take it...

i have both so I can bash both...so many dmg files are bogus on the web so u spend hours downloading something for it not to work...all those programs you have for free are of no use to me...I'm talkin couple grand software suites that u can get for pc super easy with a mac its way harder.
but in the end its what you use it for that depicts what platform you run...and there has to be a reason why u can bootcamp the newer mac to run windows and pc based software...well cuz some things are just easier and make more sense on a pc and vice versa
pc's will never die, they just make too much sense and the market is made for them...macs will always be the artsy fartsy computer good at what it does best
for normal everyday use I find macs too limited in software especially for consumer products (mp3 players, cell phones, external hdd etc)
