I'm not condoning what those particular Officer's were doing, but put yourself in their shoes.

The city you work in is in absolute chaos. There are shootings, murders, rapes, looting, in 100 degree heat and in several feet of water. Half of the police force has quit. You have no working radios, your cruiser has no gas and you are out numbered and out gunned. You still need to eat, drink and try to get some rest all while trying to do your job. I think most of us in the same situation would be doing the same thing. Although I hope most of us would be smart enough not to do it in uniform and on camera.

I saw a segment on CNN last week about one particular Police Station. The Cops barricaded themselves in and were on the roof with rifles. The one cop said it was like the movie Precinct 13.

This is worse than 911 IMO, because the enemies are now your own people, not politically speaking but on a social level.

You gotta do what you gotta do to stay alive, taking food is a must, because it is gonna go bad one way or another. But taking a TV is just plain stupidity.
