The center is 1.5 or 2” polycarbonate, chemical hard coated both sides.

Weight 20” - 27 lbs, and 22” - 38 lbs (complete wheel weight)

All other parts of the wheel are forged 6061t aluminum
(Inner and outer hoops and Hub center)

SAE tested, certified and passed Impact, cornering and radial tests.

Suggested retail is $5000.00 per wheel

Cynikal.Mindset 21-Nov-2006 06:21 PM

yea, I watched the video after thats some thick ass polycarbonate...that aint gonna break

imported_egb18c 21-Nov-2006 06:21 PM

"A technique known as bezel setting which only master diamond setters can know, is where the diamonds are just slightly larger than the bezel they are set into, and held in place by pressure. Much the same way the diamond is set into a bezel setting, the polycarbonate center is set into the forged aluminum hoops with precision machining and a jeweler’s touch."

I only bothered to look at the 1st pic but now that I seen the rest...looks alright. :D

RDub99 22-Nov-2006 01:51 AM

that looks pretty sweet if you have a nice break set up underneath..

rema 22-Nov-2006 02:00 AM

looks so weird

imported_phuviano 22-Nov-2006 03:04 AM

I don't like em. When you can only see the outer rim, and it looks like there's nothing holding the rim together, it looks cool. When you can actually see the polycarbonate, it looks like crap.

I'd rather spend my money on a set of Volks or Work rims. I'm pretty sure these bad boys would be in the same price range, if not more.

Cynikal.Mindset 22-Nov-2006 03:14 AM

5k a wheel is well out of volks/work price range...these guys are 4x the price hahaha...these arent for tuner cars anyways...only the most elite ballers sport these

imported_xplizitremix 22-Nov-2006 03:58 AM

^
Dito

Volk and Work are waayyy out of the league of those rims man

And u wouldn't ever find any set on a civic / jap car probably unless its a lexus
MAYBE an acura... MAYBE...
