hey i have a eg hatch with a jdm h22 with f22 tranny my 0-100km/h is roughly in late 5 sec's early 6's.. im curiouse to kno wat you guys r running n how fast it is... n wats considered slow quick fast i hope to hear from you guys feel free to comment

What some people consider fast/slow will differ from person to person.

What I think is quick, or more so, what I think matters most in a car is how fast it goes around corners, not how fast it goes in a straight line. Many cars can be made to go fast in a straight line, but it takes a lot more time, effort, and skill to make a car go around a track the fastest.

Power to weight and a balanced setup is much more important then just all out power. At an autocross event we get more worried when we see a miata pull into the parking lot then we do when a corvette pulls in.

All that aside, talking about straight line performance, it depends on the vehicle and it's mods, whether I'll consider it fast/slow.

Seeing an eg hatch with an h22 swap run a 14.0 in the 1/4 mile, I would say thats quick... for a civic. Seeing a C6 Zo6 run a 13.0 in the 1/4 mile, I'd say thats slow... for a corvette (and question the drivers skill...lol).

I consider a car to be slow when it has all the specs to be a fast car but becuase of extra weight and stuff it under acheived.

As for a car being quick I associate a car being quick with being caught off guard.. like a geo metro with a vitara engine turbo'd and just puts a few car lenghts on you and you sit back and wonder how the hell did that happen....

Fast cars to me are cars that just downright scare the hell out of you with amazing cornering speed, undeniable straight line prowess and just down right brute force...

This is just my view tho...MPR made a valid point as well

An 07 Si like mine will run high 14's, low 15's stock. Ive never run mine, but Im perfectly happy with its performance, especially since it has a full interior and lots of options, nice stereo, etc. In my case, Im not will to sacrifice comfort for performance.

Im more impressed with the handling and not 1/4 times. Lapping and Auto-X seems like so much more fun.

i have never ran my car in the 1/4 mile im not a track person myself but im curious to kno wut it will run n gives me n idea how fast my car is n what cars im compare to without street racing

All i was saying is in that situation you'd be like damn that was quick... it was unexpected... you have no point.. is it's a slow sleeper then it's stock then...

i wudnt say sleepers r slow either.. thats y its a sleeper it looks like ish or rusted or stock but it has to have sum kind of engine or mod to the engine to beat ur car cuzz if it didnt beat ur car then u wudnt kno it was a sleeper

I remember about a month ago I beat a guy with a h22 swap with my stock y7 with almost 300km on the engine lol
I think it has to do alot with driving skills not just how big your engine is
