Hey everyone.
It's been a while since I posted on civicforumz.ca. I thought I would share what I've been up to. Since I bought my 1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si it's gone through a number of changes. In 2012 it was a stock d16z6 automatic transmission del Sol Si with lowering springs and a short-ram intake. The car was in mint condition and only had 150,000 original kms (~93,000 miles). I decided almost immediately that it needed to change. The process began in the spring of 2013. Each item that has gone into and onto the car was thoroughly researched. I love this car. I've seen you car/posts on another forum, I'd like to get out on the track with you some day next season. I always liked Del's. I too own a 2 seater Honda, just an old beater CRX.
Great post and hope to see more of this car posted here! |

Great post and hope to see more of this car posted here! That would be awesome. I'd love to see your CRX on the track. Thanks for the kind words. See you next year! |
You've done a lot of work and it shows...you must feel a sense of accomplishment. It's looking awesome. :)

An extensive amount of time went into researching and planning this project. It's an awesome feeling when the result of all that effort can be put on the track and exceed expectations. This has really been a "built not bought" project. But of course it's not over... It's never over. |

This has really been a "built not bought" project. But of course it's not over... It's never over. CRX is under the knife (see the build thread I'm about to post right after this message... It's not a track toy, it'll be daily duties. The DB1 integra I have is my track car. I know it sounds backwards but the teg already was a gutted semi build track slag when I got this CRX. And you're right, it's never over. |
